I really like 'From The Jam' but it got me thinking...

Russell Hastings is the lead singer/guitarist who does the Weller parts in 'From The Jam'.
Mark Brzezicki was the drummer in 'From The Jam'.

Russell and Mark played on Bruce Foxton's solo album 'Back In The Room' making it virtually a 'From The Jam' studio album.

And Paul Weller played on at least three tracks on 'Back In The Room'.

So, Paul Weller from The Jam played on Bruce Foxton from The Jam's album with two members of 'From The Jam' thereby recording with his own tribute band....

I thought about this too much didn't I.

Went to see them last week at the Globe in Cardiff for the setting sons tour and again they were brilliant, well worth going to see. Looking forward to next years Sound Effects tour.

Saw them last Friday at Reading Sub 89.

They played all of Setting Sons as it was the 35 year anniversary.

Was good.

Bruce Foxton was, and continues to be a very talented bass player. He flourished and burned brightly during the punk/new wave period and continues to do so today.
