We'll be ready for them in 2015. A lot of that Aussie team wont be playing in the next one.

A least I got one good day at the Gabba to see Aussies toiling...shame for the poor sods who booked to travel for the next two tests hoping to see the Ashes decided.

One of my English work colleagues went out the time they got whitewashed in 2008 after the series was 3-0.
Said he had a fantastic time. They just partied harder.

And a lot of the English side.

They need to give Bairstow a run instead of Prior....and Rankin should be given an opportunity.

I don't think long term we should make radical changes. Prior has been great for us. But his batting for eight tests now hasn't been great. No harm now in giving Johnny. Bairstow two Tests to further his experience and also see if he can be a good test Keeper.

Just seen this Ashes thread.

Was out in Aus for Adelaide & Perth.

Aussies wanted it more than us, Anderson lost his out swinger, Swann injuries costing him, support bowlers been awful in the nets, Tremlett should never have gone - lost his nip, Prior very worrying & Peitersen who is probably retiring from Tests at the end of the Series should go now. Disgraceful shot selections time and time again.

Stokes Century was a brilliant knock considering the state of the pitch & his age - came through with flying colours. Ballance should be given a chance in next two tests & Buttler who is a class act will be pushing Prior very shortly.

We were murdered - felt like 10-20 years ago.

KP will be left on his own in the Sydney dressing room at this rate and still have a row with himself in the mirror
