Stuart Adamson R.I.P. 10 years ago to this day

Gone but not forgotten. A great axeman who never really got the credit he deserved. A long history between the Skids, Big Country and The Stranglers as JJ Burnel will tell you. The beating heart will never die and the beating heart is the music of Adamson.

Yeah very sad - chap at work is a massive Big Country fan - Turned up to work today in his BC T-shirt with 3 BC badges bless him. Spun some BC tracks on Spotify this aft. Some great songs I usually skip came to light "In This Place" off Peace In Our Time seemed to have passed me by but it's a great song.

Was more into the Skids than Big Country. Time you were giving the Skids first album "Scared to Dance" a good listen to Jim.

Yes. Very Sad.

Big Country are one of the best bands I have ever seen live.

I never understood why he took his own life.
Maybe I'll find love when there's nothing to do........
