He was recently fitted with a implantable defibrillator to correct an irregular heartbeat and suffered a hematoma (blood clot) following that operation.
He was told by doctors on several occasions to take 'a period of rest' but doesn't seem able to listen to their advice.
I hope this latest cancellation mid set at the Wacken Festival makes him think again.

Suprised he was able to play at all really. I was suprised on facebook that he said he was going to play. They have a UK tour sheduled for November too. Which i don't think he should do. He should just take the rest of the year off. But he doesnt like to stop touring.
