You can't go too far wrong with a Fender Jazz - a really versatile bass guitar!
Shove it up yer bollocks then!

Precision for obvious reasons...
But like the Jazz too!
Also nearly bought a Gibson Ripper once upon a time.
Thank you very much

I own 5 basses , and played in covers bands for 20yrs , but my favourite has to be the musicman stingray,i've had this bass for over 20yrs, it has a sound for every genre, slap, funk, top end for those punk gigs, and great in the studio, close 2nd fender precision p bass, only used this one ocassionally, 3rd the ibanez sg 5 string, the acoustic is a yamaha never gets used, and the squire is for learning stuff on.
If it's not recorded ,then it's just a memory

I recently bought a USA Fender Precision as per JJ's old one (as regards colour). Lovely bass. 8)

He had a wal pro bass that he had in the 'Bear cage' video and I think also used it at the Rainbow gig when Hugh was in prison. 8)
