Radiohead "The king of limbs" took a while but im really into this album now although it got slated at the time.
Metallica and Lou Reed "Lulu" i can't fathom a reason to bring myself to play it yet "Iam the table i am the table, I am the table. I am the table, i am i am i ammmmm". was good.
Metallica "Beyond Magnetic EP" four tracks which did not make it onto death magnetic.
Ghost "Elizabeth" one of the best new Metal bands from recent times.
Killing Joke "Absoloute decent" I'll have to hold my hands up and give rodders his credit here .... even though i dont want to and the other one.
Muse "The second law" from what ive heard online its ok not one of their best.

I have been catching up with all the Glam/Sleaze/Rock bands that i have missed over the years.

Current favourites would include Dirty Penny / Kissin' Dynamite / Wildstreet / LA Guns / Pretty Boy floyd.

Having now played it a few times the new METZ album is excellent.
It won't be to everyone's taste (very thrashy and shouty) but it has an energy that seems rare in music these days.
TBH the reason I don't buy much new music is because most of it is really boring.

Yes mate, a new album coming our for the Rough Kutz next year, 20 years next year they would have been together. The Roughneck Riot, folk punk band from Warrington, seen them about 10 times, great band.

Just bought the new ZZ Top album,its short and sweet,nice rough Rubin production with nice fuzzy Gibbons old style guitar.
Also got the new Rival Sons album Head Down which is sounding better on each listen,went to see em on their recent tour and enjoyed the gig,smidgins of Zepp in there.
The Be Good Tanyas new collection/best of album was purchased,and i'm liking that,but as for new bands go, i've been listening to Derby's very own punk stalwarts The Reverends debut album The New Addicted,top stuff!!
I picked up Ellie Goulding's new album to,but its not grabbed my listening attention as i hoped it would you can't win em all!

And my golden oldie thats been getting a lot of airplay is Australia's Men At Work's debut Business As Usual,top album IMO.
