If you like Real Ale there is a Good Beer Guide listed pub opposite the venue called Bitter Suite. Apparently it is attached (physically) to the Mad Ferret pub down the side alley. According to the GBG it has six rapidly changing guest beers. I wonder if they've got some Golden Brown in especially?

Yes I believe it was, thats where everyone started although we did go to a boozer opposite the venue and had a couple of beers with Shaggy's lot.
Then iy was back to the Adelphi after the gig
