having just witnessed a thread be locked over the smallest of disagreements, im now worried about how the new mods are gonna work. i can imagine people saying "fuck the forum" if thats how sensitive its going to be. Grayo's gonna be gone in no time if it keeps up like this.
theres a skill in moderating, and its all about knowing when to act, knowing when to leave things alone, knowing when something has gone from a debate, or even from a bit of agro to out of hand, its about keeping things contained.
Jim did a good job of this, nothing was too strict or too out of control, but sadly he aint got the time anymore.
