ah...I'm gobsmacked to find this today...wasn't in the site yesterday due to being stranded in Edinburgh with train disruptions due to landslides in East Lothian.

It was the nicest & yet most wierd birthday ever with the snow & blizzards on Tuesday night (about 2" fell in Edinburgh).

Spent Monday night & the best part two days at Norton House Hotel on a spa break with my best mate, who also shares the same birthday, pampering ourselves & chilling out. It was a brilliant package with everything included and the food was absolutely tantalising.

We got back to Lesley's, who lives near Murrayfield, later on Tuesday & had planned to go out at night but the weather was so grim we ended up staying in. We had over indulged in the champagne & red wine the night before so just picked up some nice seafood & strawberries to have with a bottle of pink champagne that Lesley's partner had kindly given us. Had a lovely night chilling out & even managed to see a bit of the footie between chat.

Eventually got home yesterday afternoon & just carried on the being spoilt from my other half & my boys & then finished it off with a meal at the local chinese last night with a glass or two of red!

Still on holiday for the rest of the week so it's back to reality with a bodypump & attack class this morning (in place of tonight's usual classes as meeting my sister for a curry)
