Just got the new cock sparrer cd "here we stand" last week an fink its superb. Always felt sparrer never got near the shock troops album again in way of good catchy punk tunes but this is a cracker, as good as shock troops in its own way, cant wait tae see them blackpool

Not bad. It's not quite up to the standard of the old stuff, but still well worth a listen. The Bauhaus of old has been watered down somewhat into a version of Love & Rockets.Alias wrote:Old Angus wrote:Bauhaus - Go Away White

Any good?

Beach Boys - 'Today' album. Fucking unbelievable songwriting. Listen to http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KkEnaxQCZwk and tell me it's not amazing.
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.
Sorry OG but that is a truely awful song. Admittedly I only lasted 30 seconds so may not have the best perspective on it but how you go from that to the Stranglers just amazes. you obviouslyhave a very eclectic taste in music. And I thought I was doing well liking the Young Marble Giants...

At 30 seconds you missed the chorus which is the good part. Not to worry..Cola Can wrote:Sorry OG but that is a truely awful song.
