Exciting times
One of those rare moments where Hugh and The Stranglers are about to release/tour etc
Isn't life wonderful !! Appreciate moments like this - They won't last forever. Think about how old you were when you first got into the Stranglers - think about how old you are now, how old the band are now. Seize the moment! seriously guys.
The site is getting hammered by the way

I'd love to think that I spend the next 33 years with Hugh releasing amazing albums and the Stranglers touring but I feel I may be kidding myself

Re: Exciting times
Chill we still have an additional 10gig of bandwidth so unless The Stranglers turn into U2 or Hugh turns into Bono then we should be fine

I remember looking back at the end of 2004 and thinking that I'd never see another year like that again. Both Hugh & The Stranglers had new albums out and there were gigs aplenty. The meet ups were superb and I met many forum members for the first time.
Thought that year would never be equalled. But it has been, possibly even bettered. So much has happened over the past 4 years it's amazing. Never been a better period to be a Stranglers and/or Hugh fan imho and I say that with 30 years Stranglery experience.
This year is shaping up well too and I know it WILL be one of the best. We've already had Buxton, JJ & Baz acoustic as well as Hugh on tour and I'm sure the best is yet to come.
However, we're all on borrowed time aren't we? So, I agree - MAKE THE MOST OF IT!
The "Indian Summer" which someone called it a few years ago ain't gonna last forever.

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning when they release dates, and that hasn't changed in 29 yrs. Never thought I would still have that feeling after all these years, and it feels great.
