It'll be a night out - guess time will tell if it's great or not. Novelty factor of seeing John Ellis waddle his tracky-bottomed toosh onstage adds to the attraction but even so....I won't be going.
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.

I'm sort of more curious than excited about this gig. No way I can make it though. If they do announce more dates (as has been rumoured) then I might make the effort for a future gig.

It seems they're planning five or six more gigs.

I'm interested in going, if only to experience enlightenment,
and an answer to that ancient Zen Buhdist koan,

100 Club Set List: March 8th 2007

8-days
Brain-box
Daddy's riding the range
Desert soul
Face
Fried
God
Golden boy
Heaven or hell
In a while
In heaven she walks
Joy de viva
Mine all mine
Money
Paradise row
Sad soft lullaby
She gave it all
Sinister
Still life
Sugar bullets
Valley of the birds
Wet afternoon
Wrong connection
Strolling along minding my own business.....

Hitherto, I had little interest in seeing this performance, but on reading that setlist I am reminded of a number of great songs that I suspect we will not see performed by The Stranglers again, which is a great shame.
If they intend to perform at a more conveniant venue, then I could be very tempted, very tempted indeed.
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

No, perhaps your right. I think I would need to read a review or two before making the effort.

Not your fault. Just don't see the point of posting a set list in advance; even if it is true. Takes the edge off the evening.
