Hugh @ Manchester

Post by theraven1979 »

Just who is going to this?

Due to work commitments I won't be able (if at all) to get there until 9.15ish so I guess I miss a bit of the set.

Who's off then?

Defo doin this one.

Might do either Preston or Glasgow as well depending on how good he is at Manchester and whether my mate in Glasgow can put me up for the night

I'll be there - wife and kids as well! I will be in trouble with my daughter if we don't get there in time for DavidRBlack, so I'm hoping the M5/M6 etc are not too congested.

Aye definitely maybe.
What is the Academy 3 like? Been to the Academy many times but not Academy 3.

Cheers.

This the place Hugh played about 3 years back? It's not a bad venue - a bit like a pub venue but a bit bigger. Bar at the back.

Wonder if John Robb is going?

Yep it is, on that little 4 date mini tour just after he'd come back from recording BEF. I've never been to a bad Hugh show but not much sticks in my mind from that one (save cool versions of Wog & 1000 Kisses). Also played there the year after too but i didnt make that one.

I've heard 9pm - but I would recommend you get there sooner to check the support out and to avoid disappointment just in case he is on earlier
