Anyone going? 999 are playing but apparently won't be on stage until 11pm - I'll either be or by then!
Be good to see some friendly (or not so friendly!) faces if so.

Well, it was very exciting. Maybe not as exciting as Straighten Out the night before though.
By the time we got to the the shit hole - I mean New Cross, it was about 10pm. We found the pub easily which was a bonus considering we were both a little pissed by then anyway (girlies dinner and drinks beforehand - what can I say?). I think my mate wanted to kill me for dragging her along there, as, to quote her, "my punk days are well and truly over." Or so she thought!
There was a girl group on called The Pukes, who apparently were very good, instantly forgettable to me though. I was too busy trying to chinwag with Arthur (from 999, he probably thought I was off my rocker, not that that's anything new!)
999 came on late, about 11.15, and played (from what I can recall, remembering set lists isn't my forte, and I've only seen them once before so I'm still technically a virgin - or in the foreplay stage at best )
Inside Out
Something that sounded like Gimme the World, don't know what that was
Feelin' Alright With the Crew
Emergency
and a few others...
and the rest just goes into a drunken haze...

Not quite - I didn't drag anyone up onto the dance floor this time - wouldn't dare - they all looked too scary for even me to deal with!Bag Lady wrote:Sounds like a regular Ravenette night out
