Aye Horsey. the great man coming to my home town. Its gonna be like im having my own private gig with a few assorted friends and family. I will be sorting the boozing arrangements out, a few good bars and there are some shitholes in St.Helens so I will give a good guide as were to go, and all finished off at the Spicey (Rat) Chicken.

If youre wanting real ale the best pub is the Turks Head on Cooper Street, about 5 mins from the venue. It came second in the CAMRA best pub (nationally) of the year 2 years ago and nearly always wins North West Pub of the year, loads of real ales and for lager boys none of that Carling/Fosters/Stella shite.

Other boozers worth going in are Jave/News Room/Pheonix but all the others are a bit crappy, 2 weatherspoons but all the riff raff of St.Helens go there (im a snob by the sounds of it).

Im not one for currys but am reliably informed that the Palace on Westfield Streets is decent. Johnny told me you were coming with him Jim so i'll put you in right direction
