If you wanna get really cultural go to the Centraal Museum that has the the exhibition God save the queen - Punk in the Netherlands 77-84 on show.

Or preparing for Flandern the day after at Kafe Belgium (lots and lots of Belgian ale) on the other side of the canal from the venue. A bit further down the same canal there's a cluster of 5 bars with outdoor serving...
Or Stairway to Heaven at the Mariaplaats...huge bar with live music during weekends....

Who's getting a Tshirt? Just under 2 weeks to go now, Do you think we will get back from Leuven to London at 6.am?. Reason being on the saturday we are playing Preston North End away, the coach leaves Charlton at 8am & Preston is a ground still to tick off,it will be great if we can get back by 6am so i can make it with plenty of time, if it's 7am i will have to leg it from Victoria to Charlton.

Hahaha... no, it was a union building in those days...I was there when we squadded it, cause we thought Utrecht needed more music venues, it was around 1980. It's a pretty established place now...but still brilliant!
I'll be in Utrecht around noon, meet up with my 2 of my old school friends, check into our hotel (tourists in our own city :), and yeah, we could meet up somewhere for some 'touring' ... :)
Looking forward to this one, 30 years and 3 weeks since my first Stranglers gig, NoNukes...
