The funeral was yesterday and all went as well as can be expected for such horrible occasions. My Mum got a lovely send off and me and my brother both wrote a eulogy for her, and the vicar read them both out in full which was a pleasant surprise. And it also meant that The Stranglers were mentioned as I made a humorous observation that my Mum actually liked some of their stuff because as well as her having massive influence on my life and on me as a person, my musical influences had gotten to her too
