Excellent gig last night at the 12 Bar, sadly not a huge crowd(I would guess at around 50/60). Great set list which included as 'new songs' - Time To Die, Norfolk Coast, Baroque, Shah Shah and a fabulous The Man They Love To Hate.
The new guy Phil is a real dear ringer(excuse the pun) for Hugh circa 1978 and they are 100% improved from the last time I saw them with the previous singer.
Go check em out folks, you will not be disappointed!

Re: STRAIGHTEN OUT SWINDON 12 BAR
My first time at a Straighten Out Gig and I was certainly left dissapointed surely worth a tenner however rather than the £6 that was charged.
A great set list my personal favourites being Shah Shah a Go Go and The Man they love to hate
Shame about the turn out but I am sure all those present left happy - looking forward to seeing them again soon - regretably cannot make the Hope and Anchor
In the words of Dave Colton its like having the Stranglers in your own front room !
LETS FOOKIN AVE IT !

Yeah it was great gig, first time I have seen this line-up and wasn’t disappointed.
Enjoyed the introduction of Time To Die, Norfolk Coast, Baroque, Shah Shah and he Man They Love To Hate.
