Missing In Acton?

Mr Spooner, not heard owt from him for a while.
Don’t know if it’s true or not I think I heard a rumour that he was banned from the forum for the umpteenth time? He apparently upset yet again one of the sensitive 6 snowflakes?
Come back Mr Spooner, oh and alias too, he was good for a larf but unfortunately he was Scottish.

He ‘just’ died? That’s awful and was not aware of that, I don’t recall it being mentioned on the forum. I only knew the guy as Thrubeingcool or Spooner, I think Barry was his name? so when did he pass away? I never met him but I really liked him he seemed a really nice chap and brought many things to this forum, his excellent knowledge of The Stranglers history for one and another one being his wonderful sharp dry sense of humour and brilliant wind ups which I’m sure put a smile on many a people’s face and causing them to laugh out loud (something seriously lacking on this forum over the last few years due to the proliferation of and over sensitivity of a minority of negative miserable so called ‘fans’ who do nothing but complain about the band and spout negativity and try to bring everyone else down with their negative opinions) Mr Spooner will be sadly missed. R.I.P.

Ok, very glad to find out Barry is okay, not sure I get the "he just died" joke though.

Can’t Jim ban himself from the forum for saying that?
Who’d be in charge then though, Stan?
Er...Actually I think Id prefer it if Jim stayed and he blamed Stan for the Barry is dead ‘Joke’.

If I'd have said "I wish he was dead" then yeah I'd have banned myself!
