Went to Buxton in May. Nice place, pity it was never finished and got the impression most in the tourist business couldn't care too much.

Free Buxton mineral water straight from the pump - almost next to the Opera House - is a must for the dehydrated - bring a few empty bottles and stock up the morning after.

England's highest town in February? Hoping for some lowland gigs - and standing please.

according to Sil Wilcox there are 2008 dates to come. I doubt that Buxton is a one off.

'At his West Country farm, Sil was relieved after the techno headaches at the weekend. We wondered if this is likely to threaten the upcoming Belgian acoustic gigs.

Stranglers 2008 live dates are expected to be announced in February.'

See what you can do Gizz. Sounds like there are plenty of very good seats still available up front in the stalls (RL - please take note). The venue's booking office are very friendly and accomodating on the phone.

Anyway, it's high time we had a late night Indian in the Shires.

Alias ?

An all-seated Stranglers gig? No mosh-pit? Is this possible? Can someone please explain?

I'll try Paul but got some big expenses coming out between now and March.
If missing this one means I can go to more later in the year then that'll do for me.

Still be gutted if I miss this one though.

Isn't JJ off to Japan for his 6th Dan Apr-Sept?

That should be 7th dan then, I think, as he's already a 6th dan:
