Got Wire's "Scottish Play" gig to listen (and watch) this weekend. Looking forward to it.

Managed to finally get me hands on 999s "Concrete" album on CD so I`ll be spinning that as well.

This week I have been mostly listening to

Slade - "Wall of Hits". Worth it for the classic Cum On Feel The Noize (fantastic song with the typically understated Noddy Holder vocals)
Big Country - "Live, Without the aid of a safety net"
Hard-Fi - "Stars of CCTV"
Ruts - "Best Of"
Buzzcocks - "Buzzcocks"
Rancid - "Indestructable"
The Distillers - "Coral Fang"
Goldblade - "Rebel Songs"

I love this era from 999. The 4 singles on the CD, Lil Red Riding Hood, Indian Reservation, Wild Sun & Obsessed are top quality.

I've been trying for a while to get 13th Floor Madness on CD (the album after Concrete) & saw it recently on Amazon so I'll have to get hold of that. You don't have it by any chance?

Yeah I`m the same as you Paul - loving this era. Yeah 13th Floor is a great album. By this time 999 were over their shouty punk phase and were creating very nice songs indeed.
