Keep on listening to the recording of Down in the Sewer by Hugh at the Paradiso 2009 gig. At the office, in my kitchen, in the streets, yeah, everywhere!
Brilliant!

Been listening to REZILLOS radio sessions earlier thanks to Mr Radley..EXCELLENT !

Otherwise it's been ;

'Metal Box' - Pil
'Crooked Timber' - Therapy?
'Journal For Plague Lovers' - Manic Street Preachers

The Rezillos really cheered me up after listening to all that stuff I tell thee :!:

Love Journal, return to form, for all Richies critics over the years, its his lyrics which define the Manics 8) 8) 8) 8)

And I still think he`s alive having a good laff at the music business :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'll probably always be in the minority when it comes to 'The Manics' because I reckon they;ve always been better off without Richie Edwards. The bloke did nowt for me and the band only got better imho following his absence,...until this latest album :smt012

Can`t agree after Everything Must Go which used Richies lyrics they have not made any better albums, some good individual tracks but not a complete album, how could anything post richie be better than the The Holy Bible

I'll try and pay more attention to 'The Holy Bible'. A mate did lend it to me when it was first released but I have to say I wasn't impressed. I'll also add that I've been meaning to give this album a proper listening since then because it seems to be the most talked about Manics album.

Its very intense, listen in a dark room with headphones on, you can feel Richies pain, theres a special edition with the 2nd disc being an American mix, as the record company thought it was to dark for them so gave it a bit more AOR feel, give it a miss
