Stina Nordenstam's new album - The World is Saved and also stuff by by indie hipsters Stars (which only seems to be known by the under 30 age group)...And oh yeah - I love M.I.A!

I'm with you on MIA. I'm also having fun with the Tortoise collaboration with Bonnie Prince Billy - The Brave and the Bold, which is a set of covers which includes songs by acts such as Devo, Springsteen and Elton John.

Visited the new Fopp Records in my home town of East Kilbride this afternoon & bought the following ;

Daydream Nation - Sonic Youth (previously had this on cassette)
Showbiz - Muse
Takk - Sigur Ros
Aretha Franklin &
Otis Redding - The Very Best of

All for the princely sum of £23 !!

Going through a Johnny Cash phase at the moment.

Saw the movie last week - thoroughly recommend it too.
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.

Snap-The Jam.

The best ever compilation album by any band.

"What's this for?" - Killing Joke.

Bits of Joy Division.

"Minimum Maximum Live" - Kraftwerk - (I would lurve them to do a cover of "Nuclear Device" or "Toiler" :P )

Serge "I got the urge" Gainsbourg.
"Madame, Be in no doubt as to the seriousness of your position". The Day of the Jackal, 1973.

I believe that the deluxe version has all of Tommy on it.
