We saw the Kaiser Chiefs supporting someone last December and tougt they were an ironic band ala Half Man Half Biscuit or something. :?

I don't like them or most other bands now but it makes sense that everyone is just rehashing and modernising what was around 20 years ago as I'm pretty sure if I was in ma teens I wouldn't want to go and see some old duffers and I'd want my own heroes or something like that. I've only managed to ever get into about 2 or 3 bands who were around before my time.

Was browsing in my local Virgin on Saturday ( ooh err missus) and found Placebo's singles album on special offer at J5.99.
It's packed full of top tunes - Nancy Boy, Bruise Pristine, Every Me Every You, and loads more. Well worth six quid of anyone's money.
Brian Molko...Arthur or Martha - discuss. :?

The 'John Peel Record Box'(minus Beatles).
"They don’t come much better than The Stranglers when performing live; there is no pretence, no hiding place, just superb music"

Liverpool Sound and Vision March 8th 2013.
