Just got the 1990 edition of the Shamen's En-Tact on CD (as opposed to the more common 1991 version with the more commercial mixes) and have got the big headphones on. nice.

I agree, it's a good album that and I remember it fondly. Going to dig my copy out!
Currently listening to a lot of (now demised sadly) LCD Soundsystem. Brilliant stuff!

Dexys - One Day I'm Going To Soar (its growing on me - a very mature record).
PIL - This is PiL (Needs to grow on me - I think Lydon is taking the piss a bit and throwing any shit down - good musicians around him thank god).
British Sea Power - EPs 1-6 - All the demo EPs now out (this being June, the 6th month) - Some real gems on there - new album will be a corker.

I have played the PIL CD once, sounds pretty good.

I really must play Animals soon. Sheep is a classic.

I ain't bothered with PIL yet, don't fancy paying the sort of dosh I did for Giants or MMXXII for Lydon, he lost too much credibility (I once naively thought he had) in the last 15 years or so, but part of me does wanna hear the new PIL album, but I shall either be waiting for a cheap copy in the sales or someone to burn me a copy.

I'm listening to or watching rather (multitasking) that Electronica at the BBC on BBC 4 right now, got to be honest enjoying bits of it more than a lot of the punk at the BBC. I don't see why one of the stranglers tracks on T OTP wasn't thrown in, could easily get away with Thrown Away. I digress, a good performance of 'Temptation' from 1982 by New Order, Say Hello Wave Goodbye now, yes soft cell, guilty pleasure sorry (great album ‘non-stop erotic cabaret’, one I will now be about to listen to at some point soon). Oh and fucking hell followed up by a superb whistle test performance of Japan 'ghosts', one of my earliest memories of seeing music on the telly no less

Good choice with the smiths, I will more than likely pick the Joey CD up at some point, not sure about Dexy's, I'm not a fan, and not not a fan if that makes sense, but a lot of people on here talking about it does make me curious I will admit
