THE DEAD TROUSERS..actually.

Shit name for a shit band.

I have an e.p by them where they do note for note covers of 4 punk classics. Even then the original versions all sound much better.

Thought I'd give them a try a few years ago, so bought this cd. Verdict: No need to investigate further.

I'm totally back on Killing Joke - Revelations, what an underrated abum that was! Tracks as Land of Milk and Honey and The Hum are still superb in their own pompous way!

I got the 1st release of this (i.e the uncomplete sessions) - Is it worth buying this CD?

Also just added to the collection :
The Shins ; Chutes too Narrow

The illegimate offspring of Arthur Lee's Love, the Kinks, the Beach Boys (early 70s stylee) mixed with the weirdness of say Jonathan Richman , Pavement and the moodyness of the Cure.

Highly recommended!

'Brighter Than a 1000 Suns' is my favourite KJ album.

All the tracks are what I'd call 'epic'.

Great band. saw them in Bristol last October and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Jim-yes deffo worth buying the SLF sessions CD.
