Blimey, that takes me back a few years.......
Was working in London when i was seventeen, and that was on the juke box in the pub we all used at lunchtime!!!!!
Brilliant song
First X-mas @ secondairy school; The Goldel Earrings live. They lost the -s and their singer and became with Barry Hay worldfamous. This was 1 of 3 Dutch nr 1 hits in the US.

Thanks, I know I'm not that young but there's not that much wrong with my long-term-memory I think .Must have been 1968; long time before they released Radar Love.
Passed my O Grade English on being able to quote one if the tracks:

"They don’t come much better than The Stranglers when performing live; there is no pretence, no hiding place, just superb music"
A mate of mine just sent me a copy of "Slade on Stage".
Forget the over familiar Christmas song - this album is an absolute belter with a much heavier sound than I'd imagined (reminded me a bit of AC/DC in places), thumping basslines, and Noddy's amazing vocals. Must have been an awesome live band in their heyday.
Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul (Didn't do alot for me)
U2 - New One (Not keen on this)
Pet Shop Boys - Love (Some quite good tracks and some utter tosh)
MIA - Kala (Mostly bollocks - Apart from the Clash sample!)
Easy Dub All Stars - Dub Side Of The Moon & Radiodred (OK musak, but not keen on Floyd nor Radiohead so not overly keen)
White Lies - To Lose My Life (Quite like this)
I bought that on cd a few weeks back. I had it on vinyl. Its a great album to play loud. I love Night Time, Kings and Queens, Multitudes and of course Love like blood. There some decent bonus tracks too.
