John Martyn's 'Solid Air' has been dragged out this week. I'm sure a few hippy types here have lost a few hours of reality whilst listening to this one...
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.

Hi, anyone listened to the new Arcade Fire album yet. I've got the previous one but to be honest I thought it was hit and miss. Also, seen some interesting chit-chat on here about The Horrors - any comments? Scott.

I have it, it is really good - it has a bit more depth than 'Funeral' tho' I like that too.

Also playing the new Kaiser Chiefs album, which for my money is better than the first

Was just going to post about Arcade Fire. I like 'No Car Goes' but the rest is bland.

The first 2 cds with the original singer are superb..

As regards the "watching" front, i have just received a superb Devo dvd from a free open air gig that they did in 2002...AWESOME

Arcade Fire album is superb. Nobody else sounds like them. Stick with it, it's a grower - you'l be amply rewarded.
Can't stand the K. Chiefs ! Supermarket CD !
