2. Pete Shelley: Talking + short acoustic set.
3. John Cooper Clarke: Talking + poems.
4. Howard Devoto: Singing over cd backing tracks.

Sounds interesting - Anyone else fancy it?

God, haven't seen JCC since the late 80s (I think) back in Cheltenham ! Remember deciding to go see him rather than the Smiths who were playing at the old Gloucester Leisure centre (crap acoustics) on the same night.

Thought I'd be able to catch the Smiths again as they were bound to tour again. Turned out it was one of the last performances before they split ! Still, all was not lost, as they went off stage early after some knob got on stage and clocked Morrissey !

:D Thought it was time to re-establish myself as a poet.

‘Central Line’

I saw John Cooper Clarke on the escalator,
He was going down - I was going up with me mater
Big hair and glasses and a craggy facer
Dressed in black and white like a wine waiter
And a big ‘stuck-on’ nose like Mister Potater
A split second, I took in all that data
And I didn’t have the chance to say: see you later...
That was John Cooper Clarke on that escalator.
