When you consider that Paul Gray is back and that he and Scabies worked on Professor and the Madman. Then Dave was pictured at a festival with Scabies and Dave also apperaed on the OneShow with Brian, there is a very slim possibility that rifts coud be healed.
Though Captain and Scabies fell out, there is still a huge respect and fondness that underlies things. Looks at the song Half Forgotten Memories

Half-forgotten memories of an absent friend
Always was so full of life
It doesn't make much sense
Although he drove us 'round the bend
The good outweighed the bad
I'm glad you were my friend

So you could look at it that there is a possibility that the classic Black album line up could get back together or even the original line up al la Final Damnation (which Sensible scuppered with his throw away comment).

This is their chance for a pension pot.
Maybe bygones could be bygones for 18 months if the cash comes in.

Who knows? Wishful thinking.

What I can say is that Pinch is a fine drummer and did a bloody good job and totally respected those drum parts.
He also kep the Damned together financially with his drive and amition. Plus, he wrote some superb songs. Look Left off the last album being a case in point.

Thank you Pinch! Good luck to you and lets hope the next drummer is a worthy successor!

That's sad news,a great drummer and good songwriter, but I gather could be quite difficult (oh those drummers).

hahaha yeah imagine that Jet Black makes a return to the stage now that really would be something to see - playing drums with any band and I would have to go and see it even if I don't like the music being played...
