Pop Will Eat Itself anyone????
I saw them in the 80s (at least I think I did) and a couple of times recently. ANYWAY.... I have been sifting through their back catalogue and on a song called “Mother” they finish with the line “bring me a piece of my mummy, she was quite close to me”.
I can't help getting old. I just refuse to grow up.

Yeah I've noticed that before. Really like some of their stuff but I can't stand much in one sitting cos the voice starts to grate on me. "This is the Day..." and "Box Frenzy" are my top albums by them and I'm always up for Def Con One and Wise Up Suckers.
Saw them on the 2011 tour with Mary Byker on vocals and it was probably the most disappointing gig of my life.

I've heard of them, but can't say I'm familiar with any of their stuff. I do watch "Car SOS", though.
