Top band, great vocalist... if we got the Edge to play guitar and Bono on vocals in the Stranglers, wouldn't that be cool! Honest...

First few albums and singles are sound. I wasn't in to them from the very start but I got there before they'd had any hits, they were an exciting band. Not heard much of their stuff since probably Zooropa.
Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.

Listen, he wore a Stranglers T Shirt. That makes him an alright twat. If ISIS members wore a Stranglers T Shirt I'd warm to them as well. I have no scruples at all. If you're a stranglers fan your're okay
how did I get down here, well it's a long story

Last time I saw them, I paid at the door £3.50.

Too right m8, and get a decent bassist in too, like the one from U2, with Jim on drums... that would be awesome

I saw them in 1983 at Newcastle City Hall, when I was 17. I quite liked the early stuff.

I saw the Stranglers, Echo and the Bunneymen and U2 within a couple of weeks of each other. Quite an introduction to live music.
