There was a long gap between Democracy and the 2003 album for some reason. There's some good stuff on Democracy but the production is poor imo.
They wrote it in the studio and it was rushed. Geordie said that there was a version with lots of loops etc that was better but Youth took them off.
Needs remixing. I've suggested a remixed version to the label but no one knows where the masters are. Geordie said he would do it.
I really didn't get it when it was released, but over the years it's got better. Aeon is a classic that was ruined by the mix. Can barely hear Jaz (that makes a change!!!)

2003 is superb. It's one of those KJ albums, like Extremities, that announced a forceful return. Looking forward to the tour.

A better mix of Democracy would be great. I doubt if it would happen though. There so e good stuff on there that should sound much better. The 2003 album has some great stuff on it too but I think the second half of it is quite weak for them.

Some of those albums had Jaz shouting a lot rather than singing . More lately he has reverted to singing which I find helps . My favourite album is still Pandemonium , not a fan favourite by any means though .
All quiet ..........

Does anyone know if there will be another proper KJ album coming out too?

Nice one, I'll be at Bristol and Roundhouse.
