I'd love it if they do a quick follow up to Pylon.

Well the way I see it is that all my favourite artists like Killing Joke, Stranglers and Hugh won't be releasing music for much longer so they may as well release as much material while they can. [WINKING FACE]

Can't see there being anything else for a while. Jaz seems to be busy arranging Killing Joke tracks with a classical orchestra at the moment.

Didn't someone say on here they've already got about 6 or 7 new songs written?

Geordie's always writing, Jaz Is doing his symphonic thing which will take time and Youth is doing a festival, so I don't think there will be anything new in terms of albums until well into next year at the earliest.

There is a massive remaster and re-issue project going on spread over a couple of labels that is being worked on.
I can't tell you what will be finally released because it is undecided, but there is a huge amount of work being done to make these different to anything else released before. There are some bits in the archives that would be nice to put out but it's down to a few issues like 1. Quality 2. Cost 3. Willingness!

I'm sure that Killing Joke will raid your wallets soon!

Yesterday i bought my first proper Killing Joke CD. "Pylon". Is such an excellent album from start to finish. I put it into the CD player last night, and was captivated from first song "Autonomous Zone",which was a song i saw them play live at last years Metal Hammer Golden God awards. The Album keeps you interested with it's unique beat to it songs like "New Cold War", "War on Jerusalem", "Eupohria" and "I am the Virus",got me hooked on them. I am a newbie when it comes to Killing Joke but Brixton Academy will be my 3rd time seeing them live. I think i am going to enjoy discovering this bands music this year. Only other CD i have is a 75 minute compleation CD that Rodney Blackstaff made me several years ago.

Did you get the deluxe version Pigeon? The four extra tracks are brilliant too. I've got a feeling you will end up buying all their albums now! Oh and it's New Jerusalem and War on Freedom!
