Anyone heard of this group? They're from Leeds I believe, I reckon some people on here might enjoy them. They're quite spiky punk/new wave sounding, and the bass work at times has shades of Burnel.. When I first got their record I was a bit disappointed - it initially sounds a little one paced and samey, but a few weeks down the line and I can't stop listening to it. It makes for quite abrasive and agitated listening at times but there are hooks in there that once lodged, I can't get rid of.
Two of my favourite tracks;
Yellow Eyes

Hollow Visions

They're getting quite a lot of attention from the NME etc at the moment which makes a change from the usual indie shit they peddle.
Oh and they're fucking fearsome live.
Check them out.

Re: New Band - Eagulls
Mentioned them on here a couple of months back - Some of their recent stuff sounds VERY Killing Joke IMO
Not too shabby

I did do a search but couldn't find anything...knew they wouldn't slip you by Jim! You got their album? It really is great, can't stop listening to it.
