Thanks all for the feedback - much appreciated.
The masks were meant to give an air of menace and mystery, as well as to hide our middle-agedness! Lol. It just goes to show.
thanks again

I liked it. Yes, I can hear a bit of Hugh, a bit of Madness and maybe a bit of T-Rex.
More please.
Why are you called "Shades of Plato"?

Thanks again all for the feedback, much appreciated.
Yes - our influences are many and varied, Vive Le Rock described us as a collision of glam, goth and prog, which is a good a description as any.
Plato was a Greek philosopher, with many interesting ideas and views about life, politics and music! We just liked the idea of a degree of intellect in what we do (moi, pretentious, non!)
We have just self-financed our first download single, 'you were the one'', which I can only describe as a gothic power ballad! Our electronic 'la folie'. An snippet can be found here...

We will be self-releasing an EP in the autumn
Here's one of our very first attempts at song writing together...it needs some more work and there was no budget for a video but you will get the idea (much more stranglers like)

No, not gigging at the moment, we are putting all our efforts into writing , recording, and trying to get the songs out there.

Kind of early Human League meets Punishment Of Luxury and Jethro Tull and decide to make a record together. Not bad at all.
