No particular order
(old) The Ramones, Devo, The Sick Fucks, Television, The MC5, Iggy and The Stooges, The Residents, Romeo Void, Black Flag, The Stimulators, Nightmare Alley, Frank's Museum, The Major Thinkers, The Shirts (and the rest of the Annie Golden's, "Brooklyn Beat" Bands) and a whole slew of old school "NYC Punk Bands". As one of the few Token Yanks here, back in the day, there were only a few good record stores that got UK imports. If it came from the UK, you bought it.
(New) .... Suggest to me some of the good stuff that's out there!!! Too much radio top 40 crap here. Also US Radio just plain sucks. Except for Bobst's program and a certain station called WFMU from NJ, maybe some of the other college stations.
