According to my Mum, when The Beatles played the old ABC Cinema, Romford in March 1963 I went past outside in my pushchair. I couldn't get tickets 'cause I was only a year old. :)

I would have loved to have seen Ian Dury and The Blockheads around the time of New Boots and Panties.
I've heard about a concert in 1980 where The Stranglers (without Hugh) play London's Rainbow Theatre and Ian Dury sings Peaches with them. Does anyone know if there is footage of this concert on You Tube or if it was recorded?
released a few times on cd as Stranglers & Friends - easy to be found on ebay - this is the infamous Rainbow gig from 1980 with John Ellis on guitar all evening and apart from Dury also appearing Robert & Mathieu from the Cure, Toyah, Hazel O Connor and loads more. You never heard of this?
