Manics new album and 2013 tour

Re: Manics new album and 2013 tour
Anyone on here got their latest album Futurology? On first listens it certainly sounds quite good. I splashed out for the deluxe version which includes demos and 3 bonus tracks. It would be great if the Stranglers could also release demo versions of their albums one day?

Yeah I'm still undecided on whether I like it or not at the moment - Hope it's a slow burner - Certainly different!

Totally different to Rewind the film isn't it. I've got a lot respect for the Manics. They have produced so many great albums and they often change their sound a bit like the Stranglers used to.

I can understand what they were going for with this one, but I'm not really convinced by it.

I like the production sound on it. I'm still getting into the songs. It sounds promising though.

I like it but i was expecting something different. Think this album will be as jim says a slow burner. I like "take me to the bridge" hopefully it will grow more when they tour it.

I think it tries (and fails) to be a bit Combat Rock in parts.
