You having a laugh?
I thought he musthave recently come into posession of a Rhyming Dictionary, some shocking lyrics on there.
Some good groves though.
My advice to you... learn how to spell the word "Grooves" correctly... before you send me anymore patronising remarks re: English as my 3rd language. u phuqin priq. Burn e 77
Fuck me, I didn't realise you was Johnny Rotten, why you so pissed?
...I'm making lists of all the people I love,
and all the cunts that should fuck off...
A little harsh maybe but how the fuck did John Rotten get to releasing such utter bollox as 'Lollipop Opera'?
Absolutely shocking !
A good value package overall in terms of quantity but the new stuff is mostly awful and even the live DVD will test even the most hardcore of PiL fans to watch it more than once. 'Open Up' lasts for about a week!
Apart from the clipped nature of much of Lydon's 'singing' (unnecessary rhyming and short lines repeated with over-emphasized syllables a bit too often) this is a really good LP. One Drop, Deeper Water & Out Of The Woods are standouts for me. Lollipop Opera is OK-ish at most.
Love the LP's deep bottom-end bass, sufficiently different from the Wobble era and Lu Edmonds' work on a variety of stringed instruments is fantastic.
It's "you're" as in "you are", not "your" as in "your bad English".... :-)
