The Damned 35th Anniversary - the sequel
I went to see The Damned in Edinburgh Picture House as part of the anniversary tour, and a fantastic night it was, great renditions of Damned, Damned, Damned and The Black Album with an impressive encore.
The only downside was the location, as Edinburgh's a bid awkward to get back from on a Sunday night. Thankfully, I'm booked in to see them at the ABC in Glasgow a week on Sunday. Fingers crossed, the band are on the same form and this time I'll be able to get home without walking half the night before giving in and getting a taxi.

Greetings, fellow Stranglers fans.

35th Anniversary - the other half:
This coming Thursday at the 100 Club, London - Brian James & Rat Scabies play 'Damned, Damned, Damned' and selected tracks from 'Music For Pleasure'. Although The Damned without Dave Vanian and the Captain is difficult to picture, these two together should put on a good night. Supported by 'The Shotglass Killers', a Brian James-produced band in a Damned/Rezillos mould.
