One of the finest voices of his generation. it was always looking iffy for a while if he would pull through.

Ok at times the Bee Gees music wasn't always my cup of tea (nightfever era) but the early stuff was great John Lydon and Captain sensible have quoted their first album as one of their personal favourites.

I used to hate the Bee Gees but in recent years I've realised what great songwriters they are and how fantastic their records are.
