Jim, have you noticed in that photo, that their (Manics) drummer sports a rather tastey "Dave greenfield" hair job... just needs the old tash!

Those were the days Jim.With hindsight, they were pretty throwaway around that time and IMHO produced far better material once they'd got over their G&R/Public Enemy obsession period. Seeing them the first time supporting the Levellers back in autumn '90 was pretty special though and it's great that they're still around now...

I remember buying this when it came out and it was pretty disappointing, although that said it sounded better then than it does today!

I bought this on cassette when this came out and was pretty disappointed too. There were a few good tracks on it but a lot of filler too. Very over hyped at the time but they are a great band now.

1st time I seen them live was at the Reading Rock Festival in 1992. Took to them right away. So many great albums with my personal faves being the Holy Bible and Gold Against The Soul.
We are very excited to be here in A ------me----ri--- ca.

I first saw The Manics at Nottingham Trent Poly early in 1992 and 'Generation Terrorist' was a chrimbo prezzie at the end of that year. Gotta say that having read all the hype, buying their music and seeing them live left me most underwhelmed. I got into them more a few years later and I must admit that I appreciate them a lot more these days. The real early stuff don't float my boat though to be honest.

Always thought their B-Sides around GT and "Gold Against The Soul" were a lot better than the singles and album tracks!

I dismissed 'the Holy Bible' on its first release but having bought it in recent years I consider it to be one of the all time greats. A truly classic album IMHO.
