Oh yes, going to The Stranglers Brighton gig but have decided to give the Bristol gig a miss.
Shall be at the Selecter gig in 229 Club the following night instead.

The Beat are still going strong, got a lot of gigs this year.

Never saw them as was, but saw them 4 times last year in their current format and they were the best 4 gigs of the year.

Saw the Beat once back in 1980 at the Lyceum Ballroom on the bill with The Human League, The Teardrop Explodes and The Flowers.
