Post by Burn e 77 »

Hi "elvisintheclouds"
Are there any heavenly gigs planned yet... in the near future (Planet Earth Time Continuum)... with Bob Marley, Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Hunter S Thompson and Elvis?
cheers

Hi Burn e 77,

Good question!

At first I thought it'd be easy get Bonzo on drums, then that immediately begged the question 'what about; Moon, Krupa, Rich etc?'
Entwistle on Bass (any other suggestions for bassists who've shuffled?)
Hendrix, Marley and Morrison yes!
Maybe Hunter S could compere/provide the refreshments.

Suggestions welcome 8)

Cheers
EiTC
Thank you very much

Maybe "Bono" could attend the gig... he's not popped his clogs yet... but he think he's GOD!

Ian Curtis on vocals, John McGeogh on guitar, Paul Raven on bass and Nigel Preston on drums could make the ultimate post-punk/goth type band from beyond the grave

I didn't, in fact I never saw Joy Division, but I was barely alive when Ian killed himself, I believe that Rainbow gig was one of the nights Hugh was in prison and only a few weeks before Ian hung himself right?
