To be fair you could recreate the effect in your living room simply by playing the film "Performance" on your telly, some "banging techno" on the radio and stabbing randomly on some guitar chords.

I paid £6 (INC BF! ) back in '88 to see them, at the Assembly Rooms in Embra. The gig stopped when somebody jumped out the crowd & pinched Micks b/ball hat, he was really pissed off about it & totally threw the toys out the pram.

If I go, I'll just try & get in at the door. Dinnae get in & I'll just head back to the pub.

Anyone else caught these dates so far or intending to go :?:

Well worth the effort if Nottingham was owt to go by. A little pricey maybe but to witness a national treasure like Mick Jones in action (and I don't mean Blackbeered) was a real treat.

I didn't bother with Leeds - ticket price put me off. But heard they haven't been that great.

Tickets were a bit pricey I agree. Couldn't fault the Rock City performance though and I didn't come away feeling short changed. I'm glad I saw 'em because I wasn't that arsed first time around but Mick Jones is just superb to watch. Have to say that the audience was a bit thin on the ground by Rock City standards.

BAD are playing at the Benicassim festival so will see them there.

Quite like them, but have never seen them live. Not sure how all the sound effects in their records will come across live though.

I heard great reports from their Glasgow gig. Will try and catch them if they tour again.

I saw them at SBE the other Sunday and they were spot on, really good. Jonesy was looking a lot better than he has for a while, still stick thin and looking like he could do with a decent meal but certainly not as drawn as he has seemed.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.
If Karen Carpenter had eaten Mama Cass' sandwich they'd both still be alive today!
