The froggy who helms Nouvelle Vague claims that the Monos inspired him to enter the music racket.

Just realised this is an old thread and I've just repeated myself after looking at an earlier post.

bet no one noticed...

I do believe I have another EP in my vinyl collection somewhere .."Jacobs Ladder"..
Mid 80's I think and I can't even remember what it sounds like.

The Nosferatu wrote:I suppose he does sound a bit gay, bid. Looks it too.

But he's only one of a few Indian front men (In a proper band setting) i can recall, the other one being him from My Vitriol.
Jaz Coleman - Killing Joke? Indian Mother.

Cornershop? Tajinder Singh

That Twat who sang the Levi's Advert - Babylon Zoo

They are playing at The Islington (London) on the 16th May

I have seen them a few times over the years - great band, great songs.

One thing to note is that Lester left the band last Summer. Bid now plays 12 string geetar with a keyborad player to fill out the sound where Lester's lead geetar once was. Their live sound now is similar to 1982, when Connie Booth was in the band playing Keys and Backing Vox.
