Great band, though I only heard them when LWTUA came out. I wonder if they would have been anywhere near as popular had IC not killed himself.

Not meaning to sound callous or anything with that, JD are one of my favourite bands, as are New Order.
Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.

Whilst I love the music, idolisation of Ian Curtis didn't sit too well with me, moreso after I read this book.

Sad he died, sadder for the young family he all but abandoned and ultimately left all together.

The photo in the book where he's crouching down next to his baby is very telling.

I feel sorry for his family.

Just had the best of Joy Division on again the other day - both those CD's float between the car, downstairs & bedroom CD Players.

I was very moved by 'Control' & very sad for his family. :(

Great singer (quite rich vocals) and writer though

Everybody loves ya when you're dead....funnily enough, they don't mention that he topped himself not long after
a support slot with the Stranglers....

Very overrated band. Don't get me wrong. I liked JD but all this bullshit 30 years after his death - do me a favour.
