LEMMY- The Movie
I'm a comedian and poet, so anything that doesn't get a laugh is a poem. B.Hicks.

About bloody time! I think I first heard about this around 2 years ago.
Should be very entertaining.
Thats a very fetching German officers uniform he's sporting in that clip. Delightfully un PC!

I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

But who, apart from the man himself, can play Lemmy?
"They don’t come much better than The Stranglers when performing live; there is no pretence, no hiding place, just superb music"

Re: LEMMY- The Movie
Article in this months Classic Rock about the recent appearance of many 'Rockumentaries' (an interview with JJ too)
The Lemmy film is still not completed, all down to funding problems.
'Rockumentaries' on Mick Ronson, AC/DC & Saxon are on the way too.
I quite enjoyed the 'It Might Get Loud' DVD with Jimmy Page, The Edge & Jack White, wish they would do loads more like that with other Guitar players.

Re: LEMMY- The Movie
It's getting some exclusive screenings but still no plans for mass release yet due to funding.
By the sounds of things the producers have retained their integrity and initial vision by not allowing funders to water the project down so as a result what we can expect is a no holds barred and very honest insight (without any alternative agendas) into one of the worlds biggest rock stars in the autumn of his years - should be fascinating.
Hence the delay.

If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.

Re: LEMMY- The Movie
I've always had Robert Shaw down as Lemmy. But he's been dead some time now so it'd never work.... even if he played the 'liquid crystal methamphetamine Carlsberg Special Brew and LSD hangover comedown' scene.
