Childish made up lyrics to songs

Post by theraven1979 »

I guess I'm not the only one who does this. Does anyone else make up alternative words to songs - usually ones you hate or are just bored of hearing on the radio time and time again. Like "slip inside the arse of your wife" on Oasis' "Don't Look Back in Anger"

Extra points for the most childish efforts.

Nice one. Do this all the time, though off the top of my head the only one I remember
is the one I recently taunted my daughter with, goes something like,
"Don't disrespect the Rhythm, please don't taunt the Rhythmm, don't poke and prod the Rhythm, etc"
Dunno who does it originally, but much prefer my version.
I'm a comedian and poet, so anything that doesn't get a laugh is a poem. B.Hicks.

"Further modulation of the frequency rotation, Triggered waveband activation - near elation"

'Why are you so edgy, kid ?'

UPDATE!

I have just been reliably informed that this is what I regularly do a superior version of:

Used to have fun at primary school with the hymns at Christmas. We'd change the lyrics of Gabriel's Message from 'Most highly favoured lady', to 'Most Highly Flavored Gravy' , still makes me laugh today

Whenever Invisiblre Touch comes on the radio (thankfully not too often!) I have to sing "She seems to have an invisible tough shit!"

Very childish but it makes the song almost listenable.

A few of us sat down years ago to watch for the first time, "Dirty Harry" with Clint Eastwood.

For some days after, the following could be heard down our little High Road at full volume :

"Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream,
Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily,
You're a fcuking cnut".

"Madame, Be in no doubt as to the seriousness of your position". The Day of the Jackal, 1973.
